What time do the gates open on the day?
Gates for parking open from 1.30pm
Can I bring my own food and drink?
NO Please leave food and drink at home.
Our amazing selection of wineries, beverage and food vendors have everything you could possibly want - wine (of course), beer, soft drinks, coffee, cider, non-alcohol beer and all sorts of delicious meals and snacks.
Water will be available from the water tanker for FREE.
Can I bring my dog?
No dogs allowed (service animals are permitted).
Can I set up a gazebo?
Please NO umbrellas gazebos or tents.
There will be a number of gazebos provided by the organisers around the grounds to offer shade during the event.
Can I bring my own chair or bean bag?
Definitely – make yourself comfortable, picnic blankets chairs and bean bags are welcome!

CODE OF CONDUCT
​We are dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees. Upon entry to the Festival site, you’re agreeing to abide by our code of conduct and that any decisions made by the event organisers will be final.
Any form of discrimination, harassment, or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. If you feel uncomfortable in any way, please inform a staff member or security personnel. We do not condone intoxication, if you feel unwell, St John provide a safe and confidential space to regroup if needed. Please look out for the event ‘CREW’
BRING PROOF OF AGE
You must be 18+ to drink alcohol.
Proof of age will be requested if you look under 25 years. Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence or Passport are accepted as proof of age.
BUS TRANSPORT
FREE Bus transport will be provided on the day, this will be a "loop" bus - Map of Pick up /drop off points to come

PARKING
There is plenty of parking on the back fields at the Domain. Gold coin donation
Please ensure you have a sober driver. Why not walk, bike or car-pool with friends?!
ON ARRIVAL AT THE FESTIVAL
On arrival at the Festival, on entry security will do a bag, ticket and ID check and provide you with your wristband and Festival (plastic) glass to use for drinks. The wristband also proves to Vendors you are over 18 years old and can be served alcohol. Festival glasses are reusable, if you loose it there will be a charge for a replacement - we are trying to reduce waste as much as possible. Drinks can ONLY be served into your Festival glass.
BRING CASH
Most vendors will have eftpos facilities on site but it's always handy to have some cash on hand.
BE PREPARED FOR THE HEAT
Mangawhai can still be very hot in March. Please don't forget the sunblock, hat and sunnies.
WHEN YOU LEAVE
When you (finally) come to leave the venue, please be respectful of the neighbours living near the Domain.
No alcohol can be consumed in public spaces when you leave the venue.
OTHER INFORMATION
Be courteous, polite and considerate to other attendees, vendors, exhibitors and volunteers.
No Smoking or Vaping is permitted in the Domain.
In case of accidents or medical emergencies, the First Aid Station is located at the Domain Clubrooms.
Mobility Parking is available at the main gates.
The Mangawhai Food and Wine Festival will be taking photographs at the show. Entry to the show means you will be permitting us to use such photographs for future promotion and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please politely ask our photographer to not photograph you.
Management reserves the right to prohibit entry to, or remove from the event, any person under the influence of drugs and alcohol, showing disorderly or inappropriate behaviour.
